One of them being they strip off and get Butt-Naked. The other one is that they were definatly singing about a certain Lindsay Lohan. They released their 3rd album 'Motion In The Ocean' and released 'Star Girl' which reached number 1 making it their 6th. Then continued down the single releasing path with further top 10 hits with 'Sorry's not good enough', 'Friday Night', 'Baby's coming back', 'Transylvania this being their 7th Number 1.

In comes 2007, The lads started their 'Up close and Personal Tour' then relased 'Their Greatest Hits' which sparked up alot of rumers of a split. They denied and denied and probably got a bit fed up with the same question and in the end spilled the beans that they had too release it because their record company told them too. On the album they had all their hits plus some extra tunes, Including 'The heart never lies'.

Now entering 2008, Radio:ACTIVE definatly a different direction from their previous albums but Better. They quit Island (which is where the break up rumours came from) and started their own label 'Super records' - Saving the world one song at a time!. Their single 'One For the radio' Reached number 2, this was good because they never had a number 2 before! Then released 'Lies' and this reached number 4. Their album then went on to sell at a decent number 8. Not Long after that the boys release the track 'DO YA' with a cover of Rod Stewarts 'Stay With Me' and was the official single for Children In Need.

They Released their 'Radio:ACTIVE' Tour on DVD and was Number 1 in the charts....

The boys are currently undergoing some "secret projects" which will come alive in 2010

So thats the spoof so far, pretty interesting huh!. And through out their journey all their singles and albums have been in the Top 20 and that makes a very good CV, But hey they are a great bunch of lads and all the popularity and celebness hasn't seemed to have gone to their heads (yet) so we love them and remember to just sing along because we all look the same in the dark!.
So this is the page with all the info on the band. We will try to make it as interesting as possible...

Its kind of like a story...

So lets start at the beggining.

Lets start with their chosen band name because obviously they have a love for the American science-fiction comedys. They used the Surname of the character Marty McFly from the Hit films The Back to the Future trilogy starring Michael J. Fox who plays Marty's character .

In 2004, Mcfly started way back in the days when Busted rulled the pop charts with hits like 'crashed the wedding' (which coincedently Harry is in the music video for being the drummer). Mcfly supported busted on their 'A Present For Everyone Tour' along with V. Through being the support act of Busted McFly's single '5 Colours In Her Hair' made them popular amung the fans of Busted. This intern helped them reach Number 1 for 2 weeks. They then went on to release 'Obviously', 'Room On the 3rd Floor' and 'That Girl' all taken from their Debut album 'Room On The 3rd floor'. This meant the guys Tom, Danny, Harry and Dougie made it into the Guiness World Records for being the Youngest band to Debut at number 1 with their debut album beating the Beetles. Their album was Certified as Double Platinum. Awesome.

It doesn't stop there, About a month after their album was released they headlined their own tour and sold out most dates. Which led to them writing their second album 'Wonderland'.

By 2005, the guys released a Comic Relief single, A double-A-side of 'All about you and You've got a friend' this went straight to number 1 and all the proceeds went to comic relief. They went on to release 'I'll be Ok' which was their 4th number 1, then their album 'Wonderland' went straight to number 1. Further releases from Wonderland both entered the top 10. Again this led to them Headling another tour but this time Arena's then went on to record one of their shows and releasing a dvd.

In 2006, A shock came when we learnt that the guys were going to appear in a Lindsay Lohan Movie, Just My Luck. This meant McFly on Big Screen. They had a fairly large part in the film and certainly helped them get Noticed in America. Further down the line the boy's released 'Please Please' another Double A-side with 'Don't stop me Now' this time for Sports Relief. This reached Number 1 making it their 5th. A lot of sparks went off when the video for please please was released. For a couple of reasons
