ONE FOR THE RADIO -
"One for the Radio" is the fourteenth McFly single, and first single from their fourth studio album, Radio:Active, which was released 20 July 2008 via British national paper.[2]
"One for the Radio" is described as being about the band's "constant struggle for critical acceptance".[3]The single was premiered on BBC Radio 1's Switch with Nick Grimshaw on 1 June 2008.[4] It is the first single that McFly will release under their new record label, Super Records.[2] The video for the single was premiered on 29 June 2008.[5] The video was shot in Toronto, Canada and directed by Sum 41's drummer, Steve Jocz.[6] As of 25 June 2008 the song has been A Listed at BBC Radio 1,[7] the first time a McFly single has made the A List since "Five Colours in Her Hair".
The opening sequence of the video for "One for the Radio" is a reenactment of the beginning scene in the 1985 movie "Back to the Future," from which McFly got their name. The movie features Michael J. Fox, and the McFly video shows Danny Jones, one of the singers and lead guitarists of the band doing the same thing.

LIES -
"Lies" is the fifteenth single from British pop rock band, McFly, set for release on the 15 September 2008. "Lies" did not feature on the promotional 10-track copy of the album Radio:Active which was given away in The Mail on Sunday in July 2008, however it features as one of the four additional tracks on the retail edition of the album, which was released on 22 September 2008. The lead vocals for the song are split between band members Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, with vocal contributions from bassist Dougie Poynter. "Lyrically, Lies is definitely the darkest song we've ever written," says Tom Fletcher, who shares vocals on the track with Danny Jones. "It's about a real bitch of a girl who is out for herself and doesn't care who she uses to get what she wants. We did have a girl in mind when we wrote it, but really it's an amalgam of several girls we have met along the way. We hope she burns in hell at the end. A real good time tune then!" On 17 September 2008 the song was added to BBC Radio 1's A-List and BBC Radio 2's A-List. Lies debuted at number #4, it sold 26,071 in UK singles charts in its first Physical Release Week. Just 7 copies behind Pussycat Dolls, 'When I Grow Up'. “Lies” has received a platinum sales status certification for sales of over 170,000 copies in the Brazil (Only in downloads)
DO YA -
"Do Ya"/"Stay with Me" is McFly's third single taken from the album Radio:Active and was the official Children in Need Single for 2008. It was released physically on 24 November 2008 and for download on 23 November 2008. "Stay with Me" is a cover of a song by The Faces, and was the main Children in Need single. The video begins in a house, where people gather for christmas, and start opening their presents, which had a McFly member in it. As soon as the band comes out of the boxes, they begin to play the song. More guests arrive, and soon, Zombies arrive at the house. McFly were scared out at the end of the song, and exited via their McMystery Van and off to the moon.
The video for "Do Ya", along with the Christmas Radio:ACTIVE album advert that was recorded at the same time, are controversially refused airplay for being 'too scary' and for the fear of being copied by young viewers (when the McFly members were inside Christmas presents). Eventually, though, it earned airplay on TMF Most Wanted.
